OpenSees (Open System for Earthquake Engineering Simulation) is an object-oriented, software framework
created at the National Science Foundation-sponsored Pacific Earthquake Engineering (PEER)
Center.

It allows users to create finite element applications for simulating the response of structural and geotechnical systems subjected to earthquakes. OpenSees is now a reference software platform in research and practical
engineering applications.

Since 2006 the OpenSees Days are a constant appointment in the USA and in the rest of the world. Following the OpenSees Days Italy 2015 (University of Salerno), the European OpenSees Days 2017 (University of Porto), the Eurasian OpenSees Days 2019 (Polytechnic University of Hong Kong), the Eurasian OpenSees Days conference will be hosted at Politecnico di Torino (Italy) under the umbrella of the Eurasian OpenSees association (EOS).

CONFERENCE TOPICS
Conference topics will cover research and practical experiences with OpeeSees in the field of structural and geotechnical engineering, development of new elements and materials, development of pre and post processors for OpenSees.
